"The Orachai: beings of strange, celestial forms crafted by the gods of ancient times. The Orachai were made from the twelve souls of the gods' and goddesses' most devoted and faithful followers, favored with great strength and intellect; giving them power that was far beyond the power of men.
Each Orachai was gifted with control over the elements: six were aligned to the power of the sun and six to the forces of the moon. They were created as guards to protect the holy city of Galtea and the spirits of those who have passed on; this meant their eternal service to the gods was unparalleled. Each Orachai belonged to the Gods, three to each – so Ohrmazd had power over three Orachai, Calypso three, Flora three and Ahriman had power over three.
When Ahriman betrayed Ohrmazd and the goddesses, Ahriman’s Orachai rebelled against Ohrmazd, Calypso and Flora, who feared their own Orachai would also become corrupted. To prevent this they struck down their blessed children and bound their souls and flesh to the Glyph of the Beast, robbing them of their freedom for all eternity. The Orachai were scattered to the farthest reaches of the land to ensure no one would ever find them, where they remain bound to live only when summoned by their Glyph, to serve the one who calls them forth.
Today, it is said some of the Orachai now guard ancient temples which were constructed for prayer and worship; temples built to honor Ohrmazd, Ahriman, Calypso and Flora; temples that are long forgotten and which are now spurned by the faithless and sacrilegious people of Lamoura. The Orachai are said to be the last traces of celestial energy within these temples; where they rest, awaiting to be summoned in the new world so that they may destroy Ahriman as punishment for causing them to be banished from Galtea.
And ironically – with the Orachai only able to communicate with the people of Rolandia and Xironia - the chosen people, Ohrmazd and the goddesses can still call upon them at any time and request their aid despite banishing them.
Now it is up to Prince Linasis of Rolandia and his pure soul to invoke the power of the Orachai so that the world may be rid of Ahriman and his hateful influence forever.
Will Linasis succeed or will Ahriman's love for darkness, chaos and destruction cause the Prince’s faith to waver as well?"
Hey guys! I started this journal entry off to sort of give more backstory. This time, it's about the deities' direct children. Feel free to let me know what you think. I am always eager to receive feedback so that I may improve.
